Experience

  1. Founder & Lead Systems Engineer, Orithmic

    May 2022 - Present

Rebuilding parts of the web stack to make it easier for non developers to build applications that can be iterated on at scale while being accessible to developers when you need to drop down the layers of abstraction. The goal: Build at the highest abstraction point without having to rebuild when you need more advanced features. More announcements coming soon so connect with me on LinkedIn for updates.

  2. Technical Lead, Advisory Cofounder, AislePale

    June 2025 - Dec 2025

Led four engineers in building an agentic AI platform for SMB grocery and retail. Shipped an MVP in 30 days, executed three product pivots. LangChain, RAG, MCP, and AI SDK workflows, established engineering practices and one on one mentorship, and helped pitch investors and supermarkets.

  3. Software Engineer, Cofounder, NextCharger

    Jan 2024 - Feb 2025

Built a full stack, multi tenant EV point of sale platform, management dashboard, and self service iOS/Android application in under six months. Integrated Stripe Connect and OCPP, designed scalable PostgreSQL schemas, and deployed containerized services on Google Cloud with Docker, iterating directly with customers and local teams.

  4. Bioinformatics & Imaging Visual Analytics Researcher, UC Davis Medical

    Apr 2023 - Jan 2025

Developed a two photon microscopy analysis and visual analytics platform for low cost, setup free access. Ported a PyQt desktop application to a feature complete static PWA, achieved a 113x speedup through SIMD vectorization and geometric optimization, created LazyPandas with schema validation, dependency tracking, and undo/redo, built an extensible visualization and analysis plugin system, and led NIH presentations and poster sessions.

  5. Teaching Assistant, Operating Systems & Algorithms, University of California, Davis

    Jan 2020 - Apr 2023

Automated grading workflows with secure, containerized autograders and lectured and led discussion sections, mentoring 150+ students per quarter across operating systems and algorithms.

  6. Full Stack Developer, Contract Software Engineering

    Mar 2016 - Sept 2019

Built a custom e-commerce management dashboard and order fulfillment iPad application to improve operational efficiency and sales processes.

  7. Mentor, HackDavis

    2019 - Present

Helped teams define problems, scope solutions, and rapidly implement functional projects during 24-hour hackathons.
